The XLR8 program (formally known as our VIP program)was born from our experiences in the early days when there weren’t many people in the sport, and anyone who was up for it, was helped along by those in the know, who shared their passion and excitement for the sport, thrills and enjoyment of kitesurfing.
Here’s how it works…
1. when you have decided to give kitesurfing a proper go and make a commitment to learning to do it, buy your gear.
- Buy a new kite, board, harness and XLR8 package.
2. Automatically and at no extra cost receive membership to the Kitethrills VIP Program
Get XLR8 Membership including XLR8 Training Program and Log Book + free lessons from QLD’s best team of instructors.
3. Call us to book your free lessons according to your personal availability and lifestyle.
- We call you the morning of your booking to confirm the weather and the best location for your skill level, the conditions, and the lesson/ skills we will be teaching you.
4. Complete the program – Congratulations, you’re an independent, safe experienced and skilled kitesurfer who has ridden in a variety of locations on the Sunsine Coast that are typical of waterways worldwide. You know what you’re doing with a kite and can enjoy the sport to its fullest.
