After two years of fantastic Mauritian adventures, the Kitethrills team will be back on the island for the 2012 winter season, this time for a two month period from mid June to mid August 2012.
Mauritius date change
We have received word that Air Mauritius has revised their flight schedule for the period we will be away. As a result we’ve changed our tour dates to match flights into the country. We have already contacted those who have booked with us. If you have been planning a trip using the old dates or would like more information, please call us on 0408868231.
East coast tours:
We recommend east coast tours fly with Air Austral (Air Mauritius have downsized their eastcoast service and only business class tickets remain). Air Austral is the airline of Reunion island (just next door to Mauritius). At the time of writing Air austral flights ex Sydney ranged between approx 960 -1270 euros. Flights arrive on a Tuesday and depart on a Sunday.

West Coast tours:
Air Mauritius have slightly altered their Perth service. At the time of writing there were still low cost seats available ($1290 aus) however these may go quickly due to Air Mauritius reducing their east coast service. If the cost is prohibitive, it is possible to book air austral ex Sydney with your own domestic connection. Flights arrive on a Sunday and depart on a Saturday.

Rates and flights
Tour costs are $1900 for At the time of writing return flights from Sydney cost $1300 (inc taxes). Kitethrills does not book flights, our tours meet you at the destination airpor (book online at Air Austral or see a travel agent).

Custom Tours. Set your own dates
These trips will suit people who cant make our dates but still want the benefits of group travel. The costs vary according to your length of stay. Long stayers (over 3weeks) will cost approx $145 day. Short stayers around 7 – 10 days will cost about $160/day. There is also a $45 tag along tour booking fee and airport transfers of $50/group. This price includes, all the same benefits as the group tours except airfares.
