I learn't how to kiteboard in 2007 in Hood River, Oregon, USA after being a snowboarding instructor for 3 seasons on Mt Hood.  I did some Graphic Design / T-shirt designs for a local kite shop in Hood River in exchange for a full kiteboarding set up.  I spent the whole summer addicted to kiteboarding and came back to Australia.  The next season in 2008 I became a qualified kite instructor.  Since then I have been teaching kiteboarding for 12 years, I have travelled the world competing nationally and internationally in freestyle and wakestyle kiteboarding.  I am the freestyle representative in Queensland for Kiteboarding Australia and a Freestyle head judge that helps organise State and National Titles.  I love kiteboarding just as much as when I started, I am a passionate instructor who loves to teach the sport of kiteboarding to anyone that is keen to try it out!
